ABOUT US

nCore Communications is a technology solution provider with headquarter in southern California. By developing new SW solutions, based on exiting established technologies, nCore’s technology and products have opened new market opportunities for private and public operators and service providers in wide areas such as Mobile, Enterprise, Industrial IoT and Cloud communications. nCore’s technology is leveraging well established technologies such as LTE, Ethernet, WiFi, Satellite, mmWave Radio, in novel and exciting new ways, to solve long-standing problems such as secure connectivity, mobility and service guarantees, at the same time as providing a scalable platform for supporting application and services.

Behzad Mohebbi, CEO & President

Before co-founding nCore Communications, Behzad led a product management group at Qualcomm’s research division. Prior to Qualcomm, Behzad was the CTO of his first startup, Nextivity, where he developed a revolutionary technology known as CelFi. Previously, Behzad worked on various cellular communications systems in large companies such as Motorola, Fujitsu, and small start ups such as Morpho Technologies. Behzad has contributed a number of features to cellular systems, with the most notable one known as SSTD (Site Selection Transmit Diversity). Behzad has over 20 years of experience in the wireless industry and has more than 70 patents. Behzad earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at several UK universities.

Masa Nakamura, VP of Business Development

Before co-founding nCore Communications with Behzad, Masa was working on vehicular communication systems for major car manufacturers. Previously, he co-founded and served as the head of sales and marketing for two startups including Transilica, one of the earliest Bluetooth system-on-chip company that was acquired by Microtune, now a part of Qualcomm. Earlier, he managed the five branches of Uniden’s sales operation in China. He received MS from Stanford and BS from the University of Tokyo.
